That's racist.
Apparently this chick has never vacationed in South Carolina.
You could make an argument that the average black person is more racist than the average white person.
Why? Because the majority of black people are always whining about how everything wrong in their life is somehow whitey keeping them down. To the average black, it's accepted as fact that white people are the SOLE source of all problems to the black community, and the demand government handouts to solve the problem.
Now think about how racist it would be if it was white people making the claim that everything wrong with the white community was black people!!!

As to historical grievances... look at Asians. They had it rough in North America, too. But instead of whining endlessly and blaming others, they picked themselves up and pressed forwards socially, politically and economically. Too many African-Americans are still too caught up in the whole "oh noes help I am teh victim!!!!!" to take responsibility and lift themselves out of poverty.

I think he/she was being ironic; after so many racial generalizations were made previously. It would explain the "sarcastic" comment at the end at least.
racism isn't really the question here, it's homophobia- which is the actual reason that burke would get kicked off the show- way to jump of the racism bandwaggon though.
We started this conversation about the girl that was overheard saying black people can't be racist (which is a racist comment), not about Burke. But way to show us you know something about the cast of Grey's Anatomy. And thanks for the enlightenment.
