The Nazis agreed with your assessment. Perhaps not in terms of Christianity being entirely fictionalized - but definately int terms of what it's impact had been. Himmler is said to have expressed some regret the Germany had historically adopted Christianity, rather than "warlike" Islam. The Nazis viewed Islam as an alternative better suited for their sort of triumphalist worldview.
Himmler, in speaking to Goebbels, commented that "I have no objections to Islam because it promises my men a place in heaven if they die or killed in action."
I guess it all depends on what you perceive the actual "instincts, will, and traditions of European men" to be. If you're understanding Christianity to be a "slave" religion (like Nietzche and some in the Third Reich did), I suppose can see where you're coming from.

Right. And it's not just my understanding. It is the fact of the matter.

I too greatly regret that the West adopted Christianity rather than Islam. Islam is a strong, honorable, and proud ideology.
If Western populaces broadly adopted Islam, would that be one way (perhaps even the best way) for their countries to strengthen "the instincts, will, and traditions of European man"?
Or would you favour striking out on some other path - and have Europe/"the West" reject both flavours of monotheism?

I believe that all people should follow the traditions of their ancestors, so I favor traditional European beliefs such as Odinism. The point is that I do, in fact, have respect for Islam (unlike Christianity), and if we were going to choose one or the other, it would be the much better option.
Christianity is a pretty flexible religion. You can believe in almost anything and still be a Christian. And although I disagree with 10:58, just because the Nazi's said something doesn't mean it's wrong.

Having sex with a fictious character is impossible. Now, if he had said Woden...
and who still thinks that engineers aren't gay?
well, at least they'd get to know when the second coming of christ was....
^ ahahahaha... that would have been a WICKED title...
lmao
I really wish I knew the context of this quote, but maybe it's better I don't! Oh, and just for clarification, Christ was not a fictitious character.

Sure he was. Christianity is pure fiction, indeed to weaken the instincts, will, and traditions of European man.

So did Nietzsche and many others.

One follow-up question:
If Western populaces broadly adopted Islam, would that be one way (perhaps even the best way) for their countries to strengthen "the instincts, will, and traditions of European man"?

Dear 3:43am: Well played. Any chance you could identify yourself to us via email?
