Nothing says Neo-Colonalism better than using a bunch of people - of different ethnicity - to do your dirty work (backup dancing) for you. This is only made worse by the fact that Stefani uses them as fashion accessory
and named them for god sakes!!!
the best was when she was being interveiwed on Much Music and one of the VJ's asked the girls a question and Gwen was quick to jump in and stop them from talking by sayin to the VJ "don't speak to them, they're a figment of my imagionation"
