In a WLU tutorial, the TA (who is a candidate for his masters' degree in English) is explaining conventions of essay-writing.

My friend is a TA there.. after graduating from UWO. From the stories I'm told.. they really ARE that stupid!

The Laurier School of Business and Economics is 10 times the business school that Ivey is.
Ivey individuals are generally arrogant and self entitled assholes with ZERO social skills.
Better school, better bars, nicer more down to earth people, fewer diseased whores, but just as many pretty ladies, fewer pairs of Uggs...yup, Laurier is the far superior school
What else?... Western copied the Waterbuffalos and Shinerama from Laurier, and the Stangs can't beat Laurier at football...How much does that suck Western can't even beat a "high school' football team.

Us other university kids get a kick out of some of the stupiest things this site had to offer. That's why... and for the football remark, Laurier lost most of its veteran players too... and still beat Western!

We are far too apathetic here to buy into that whole rivalry thing anyways. We are, after all, a university where nearly everyone pre-drinks and parties on homecoming, but very few actually watch the game. Whatever.

I'm not thrilled with the subpar bar scene around here either (unless live music is involved), but maybe all that Laurier's been rotting your brain.

I would just like to point out that, as far as I know, there is no "Overheard at Laurier" page. MProbably because one absurd quote from a Laurier TA just can't compare to the hilarity of the pages of quotes filled by Western students and Profs:)
