what the fuck is wrong with all of you. i'm in sci, (and was an HBA candidate) and its fucking belligerent of all of you to make such sweeping assumptions about the arts.
it's pathetic that you can't realize the astounding beauty the literal art world has brought to all of us, not to mention the fundamental contribution BA degrees make to our world.
shiesh, grow up and learn: you're lucky enough to have an education, let alone food like the rest of the world.
how the fuck do you all think contributions from the science world, or astounding business practice reaches the world? Through some fucker in the lab who can't articulate himself?
It takes time, energy and talent to get a BA and it aint easy. Perfect may exist in a business or a science exam, but it wont on an essay, presentation or media design.

and hey guess what? im a science girl who CAN articulate herself. adequately. in fact a lot of science people can..like when they write in those journal thingies. you know those things? THAT'S how research reaches the world, and then it gets dumbed down by other people so the general public can understand it.

Words like "cuz" and "journal thingies" will not demonstrate that you are articulate, but rather that you are mediocre at conveying your ideas.
I met a taxi driver with a science degree, and a stripper with an arts degree from Western. We shouldn't waste our time arguing about whether arts is better than science, or who is better at articulating their ideas. What we should be doing is making real descisions about our futures and what we want to be after we graduate - taxi drivers or strippers? Personally, my vote is for more strippers, but there's a place in this world for everyone, and driving me home from the strip club is also an important and respectable business. In conclusion, arts and sciences both have their advantages, but in the end all that really matters is if you can dance or drive.
