Yeah this isn't funny, it's a pretty valid question, I've heard that catching them doesn't actually hurt them (with a hook I mean)...I'd assume they do feel SOMEWHAT, afterall, they wouldn't completely be deprived of that sense, and they feel if you touch them...but less nerve-endings, maybe.
