A rare moment of self-awareness for London Transit personnel...

Bus driver: Everyone move to the back! Come on! (sings) I like to move it move it! I like to move it move it! (He gets off the bus.) Man, I'm such an asshole.

Okay this is an amazing quote. I love the bus drivers who sing and entertain the bus! Even though it's only happened to me once, and I'm on the bus pretty much everyday...the worst ones are the bitter ones:| Who drive by the stop, when the bus is half-full...

A few months back, I was on the Richmond 6 when some idiot delibrately stepped in front of the bus to stop it so some chick could get on (nice though but stupid).

Anyways, as the bus is pulling away the driver opens the door and yells out "sir, I don't know who you are, but you'd make a perfect hood ornament!"

I laughed.

I hate it when bus drivers drive so fast and hit the breaks really hard to stop. Also all these kids who don't move to the back of the bus or jsut decide to stand right by the back doors and get in the way of people getting off the bus.

^ Tell me about it. Getting off the 6 to go to Kings is an absolute nightmere at times.

They really need another bus on that route.

I'm pretty sure that's the "funny" bus driver in the morning sometimes. He's better than most bus drivers, but when it comes down to it, I'd have to agree with him; he is an asshole.

Ahhh 4 straight years of the 10.....the bus with the most frustrating timetable yet with probably the most entertaining group of travellers I've ever encountered (big-ups to the west-side!)

does anyone think that the Village People should re-evaluate their entire group and add a new member, the bus driver?

Just a thought

Entertaining bus drivers are fab...

But if people in London actually knew how to ride a bus then he could sing about better things.
