Are you kidding me?! If that's not stupid/ignorant/selfish, I don't know what is.
People get blown up in Isreal all the time. It's like watching reruns - it's not particularly interesting. Maybe I'm being selfish but how are you helping those people by watching it on TV? You're not. And if you find it entertaining, then maybe you're the selfish one.
It is a disgraceful thing to say, but from a cynical point of view it's pretty darn accurate for most people of our age and social class. Nobody gives a fuck who kills who, as long as there's still shopping, drinking and Starbucks.
11:11pm - To be fair, this girl displayed a pretty cavalier attitude toward the situation over there. You don't need to find it "entertaining" to care.
Hopefully, they all blow each other up and we won't have to hear about it all the time.

You have to take [group of girls] as an entire unit. In this case it is singular so the verb reflects that. If it was [groups of girls] or [girls] the verb would be "are".
You bet I pay $5000 a year to know that... *sigh*.
I REALLY hope she's in MIT... That would make this the best story ever...
2:02 PM & 11:21 PM - We hear most about the Middle East conflict because it is the most Westernized of the areas in the world currently involved in conflict.
