When you're this wise, they call you Sensei.

Guy #1: ...I've opened my book, that's a start. "The longest journey begins with a single step."
Guy #2: That sounds familiar... Who said that again?
Guy #1: Splinter from Ninja Turtles.

The Ninja Turtles were the best thing to come out of the 1980s.

As a law student, let me point out that knowing the source of eastern philosophical quotes has no relevance to the legal profession. On the other hand, Ninja Turtles can be immensely beneficial. Let's say you have a client up on assault charges and you need to know the difference between different ninja weapons. What if they got attacked by Shredder? You people obviously know nothing about law.

Isn't that where you'd bring in a ninja as an expert witness? I'm not disputing Splinter trivia being valuable or anything, Stevens. Just saying...

In a perfect world, we'd all be shredding each other's cheese...

If he did it would probably just end up on Michaelangelo's Pizza.

Oh, and good point about the expert witness. But if enough people have seen Ninja Turtles, you might have a shot at judicial notice. Which is a far more efficient outcome.

As a grad of the law school, I really, really enjoyed reading this discussion. I can definetely see this conversation taking place. Saddly, I am no longer able to spend idle hours debating if Leonardo, or Michaelangelo was the most insightful of the turtles.

I miss Western!

Wow, that's bogus. There has to be more people like us out in practice.

If not, we're on our way.
