Um, the mention of his ethnicity and her hair color are relevant- it really helps in visualizing the entire deliciously comical episoide in the eye of your mind.

Also, 'virgin' and 'Asian guy' are pratically synonyms.
LOL OMG 1 billion people in China, but "Asian guy" and "virgin" are synonymous... I just found myself thinking, "Damn you shouldn't have come to North America, you won't get laid here."

No I have not been to Hong Kong, Mr or Ms 'I'm so cool and party and get laid in uber cool cities like Hong Kong and am totally in the know'.
I have, however, been to the Anne of Green Gables homestead in P.E.I, and let me tell you, I have never seen more digitally equiped, Anne crazed asians guys in my life than I did there- and I'm pretty confident in making the assumption that most, if not all of them, still had their V-cards nestled safely in their butt pockets, right next to their pokemon trading cards.
if you saw the movie, you would know the quote "you have more video games than a teenaged asian kid" and totally understand why he put the kid's race in
