Oh man, it sounds like its the firt time you've heard of this, coming from the bible. lol!
Song of Songs is a pretty hot book of the Bible. A lot of Renaissance literature looked to it for inspiration... though I don't think Spenser ever picked up on the "breasts as gazelles" things.
What does that first comment even mean???
