I don't know if it's that a lot of us can't afford Gucci sunglasses, or just figure there are better things to spend our money on. You know... things like education or books or interesting food ... charity, maybe.
oh please. I can count on two hands the amount of students who donate their own money to charity. Education yes, books yes, food yes, charity?? while yes it is a worthwhile cause, the actuality of it occurring among a large mass of students is highly unlikely.

Example of charity from on campus:
At the end of the year, if you still have money left on your meal plan, buy all the juice you can can afford and donate it to any of the foo banks or homeless shelters downtown.
I know at Huron they don't let you cash it out at the end of the year so it's not like you're actually costing yourself any money. I highly recommend it. You'll guarantee yourself some hugs and a big batch of Karma to use at your discretion.
