As a little person who attends UWO and was diagnosed with dwarfism from an early age, I have to say that I am utterly disgusted with the insensitivity that the OaW staff has demonstrated by posting this hurtful and demeaning comment.
Apparently, some of you think that it is funny to laugh at those of small stature. You are wrong. Belitilling us because solely because of our condition is reprehensible, and the same as calling African-Canadians "niggers" or referring to homosexuals as "f*cking faggots".
You should all be ashamed of yourselves, and I DEMAND an IMMEDIATE APOLOGY from the OaW staff and a guarentee that vile content of this nature will never be posted here again.

For the millionth time, just because a comment is up here, it doesn't mean we endorse whatever viewpoint it's advocating. Most of the comments we put up here are here for exactly the opposite reason -- they're moronic. (We get far more moronic comments submitted than witty ones, sadly enough.) For example, there are tons of racist and sexist comments on here, and they're here to be publicly mocked, not acknowledged as any kind of truth. So, come on, laugh at the idiots around you. They can't do much back but stare in slack-jawed confusion.
